Phi Sigma Sigmas value making a difference in the lives of others. Hence, they become leaders in their communities, their professions, and their sisterhood. Leadership through service comes naturally to our women as we cultivate personal growth by seeking opportunities to serve.
~In the Spring of 2005, the girls raised money at the Bisons Game for Kids Escaping Drugs.
~On October 2nd we participated in the Breast Cancer Walk in Downtown Buffalo. Each sister raised money, and walked to support Breast Cancer Research.
~On April 21st, the sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma raised money and walked in the Relay For Life!
~On April 29th the girls cooked hotdogs and hamburgers and played games with the kids from the Center for Joy
~On April 30th, the girls raised money and walked for The March of Dimes
~On December 2nd, 2006, the sisters spent the day at Eden Heights. The sisters helped decorate the tree and served snacks!
~Also on December 2nd, 2006, the Phi Sigma Sigma Sisters conducted a Christmas Party with the Niagara University Campus Activites Office for the Children at the Center of Joy!
~In March 2007 the Phi Sigma Sigma Sisters sold Yankee Candels to raise money for the Shayner Fund at Buffalo General Hospital
~Also in March of 2007, the Sisters sold gift baskets and raised money for a student of NU who lost his house to a fire.
On March 30th-31st 2007, the sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma raised money and participated in the Relay for Life at Niagara University.
On April 11th, 2007 the sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma did an event called Operation Shoebox, where we filled shoeboxes with toys and school supplies for children in need.
On April 29th, 2007 the sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma will be raising money and participating in the March of Dimes in Buffalo
